The Little Things

This past Sunday March 6th, as the temp reached nearly 55 degrees, it finally felt like spring.  Well, at least it did to us sun deprived New Englanders who have endured months of frigid days, icy sidewalks, and what seemed like permanent 10 foot high snow banks. Needless to say, this mild week end was just what the Dr. ordered and clearly appreciated by all the people who got out of the house without the mittens for some fresh air . (But to that guy who was wearing shorts and flip-flops ... you may have jumped the gun ...)
Anyway, my father and I decided it was as good a day as any to take a little road trip to Providence, RI . We had a great morning walking around town and admiring the city. We later stopped for a delicious lunch at a quaint french cafe that sat on a quiet corner. It was a relaxing day filled with nice weather, beautiful architecture and great company.
I always find it interesting how everyday objects, if looked at from a different angle, can become unique and even beautiful images. So that is what I focused on this past Sunday- looking at the world around me in a different way that allowed me to make something out of what may seem like nothing. I think this concept made for some cool, eye-catching images.
